Mike Musto's Personal Statement The health, safety and welfare of the community is going to be my focus as a trustee along with common sense decision making. I believe we can work together to move Columbia forward. My working career has always been involved with working with people. We must have a good working relationship with the community and the other officials in and out of our community. We must be able to negotiate with everyone in a civil manner. I believe that my work experience will help me work with the community and all the different people a Trustee will encounter. In every job I’ve held, I have been appointed to serve on franchise councils and positions of leadership. In every position, I have helped move the franchises forward. I am presently serving on the counsel for AmeriSpec. I firmly believe that my past experiences qualify me to help me perform the duties of a trustee. Being self employed, I will be able to work my schedule around my trustee duties. In November 2008, I started attending all of the trustee meetings. I also have attended many of the Northeast Ohio Trustee meetings during this time. I was appointed to the Board of Zoning in February 2009 and have actively been involved in zoning decisions. I also joined the Columbia Chamber of Commerce and have been active in community events. I believe my past business experiences, coupled with my involvement with the community activities make me an excellent choice as trustee. If elected I will be considerate of all the residents of Columbia.
